Listen to Beyonce give a very special wake-up call to the crew of Space Shuttle Atlantis!
"Good morning Atlantis, this is Beyonce. Sandy, Chris, Doug, and Rex, you inspire all of us to dare to live our dreams, to know that we're smart enough and strong enough to achieve them," she said in a recorded greeting on July 16 after the astronauts got to listen to Run the World (Girls).
"This song is especially for my girl, Sandy, and all the women who've taken us to space with them and the girls who are our future explorers," the 29-year-old entertainer added.
Chris Ferguson, Doug Hurley, Sandy Magnus, and Rex Walheim are at the International Space Station as part of the final flight of NASA's shuttle program.
Earlier in the week, the group also got wake-up calls and greetings from Paul McCartney, REM frontman Michael Stipe, and Elton John!
