As the show must go on, Demi Lovato's ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama was seen attending a charity event, which comes weeks after Demi Lovato was hospitalised following a drug overdose. The 'NCIS' TV series actor attended a charity event in Los Angeles hosted by Angelina Jolie's foundation, which works towards providing legal help to refugee and immigrant minors residing in the United States, reported E! Online.

Valderrama had paid frequent visits to his ex-girlfriend soon after she was hospitalised. On a related note, Lovato took to Instagram on August 5 and said that she will continue her fight against drug overdose, and even thanked her friends and family for being with her all through.

Lovato is well known for her struggle with substance abuse over the years and she recently gave fans a sneak peek into her life when she talked about her struggles with addiction in the documentary- 'Simply Complicated'.
