Back in 2013, legendary Japanese animator and director Hayao Miyazaki announced he would no longer make feature-length films and concentrate on smaller projects.

But, the Oscar-winner is now set to come out of self-imposed retirement to make one final animation feature, and it would be his first and last CG production techniques.

The 75-year-old Japanese anime master spoke about his plans on Japan's public broadcaster on Sunday. Miyazaki has been working on a CG short called 'Boro the Caterpillar' ('Kemushi no Boro') scheduled to be shown at the Studio Ghibli museum in Tokyo.

But Miyazaki said he's not happy with the results and has plans to turn the project into a full-length feature.
