"I had a terrible stutter," the Daily Mail quoted him as telling GQ. u00a0But the 57-year-old actor discovered that theatre helped him work out his childhood stammer.
He said that when he memorized words, he didn't stutter, which was just miraculous.
"That was the beginning of the gradual dispelling of my stutter. I thought I was handicapped. I couldn't talk at all," he said.
He said that he still stutters around some people now.
