The actor confesses he has had to resort to tax dodging in the past. He counts the days he spends at his home in France to make sure he does not end up paying a hefty chunk of his wages to their government.
So Depp makes it a point not to stay in the country for more than six months every year, reports thesun.co.uk.
"If I spend more than 183 days in France I have to start paying income tax there. So I live between wherever I am on location and the States," said Depp.
