Kate Winslet was just 19 when she landed Rose DeWitt's role in James Cameron's 'Titanic,' showing her vast array of talents during her eight minute screen test for the movie.

The then relatively unknown actress fought with heavyweight names like Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow for the lead female role in the epic tale of the doomed liner.
