The former "Grey's Anatomy" actress, 33, and Kelley, 32, are already parents to 3-year-old daughter Naleigh, who was adopted from South Korea in 2009.
"My sister Meg is Korean, and my parents adopted her three years before I was born," Heigl told Scholastic Parent ân' Child in February.u00a0"I wanted my own family to resemble the one I came from, so I always knew I wanted to adopt from Korea."
The pair, who tied the knot in 2007, has been quite excited to start and expand their family for quite some time now.u00a0"Josh and I started talking about it before we were even engaged," she said.
Heigl explained that she and her singer-songwriter husband had discussed having their own children before, but eventually decided that adoption was the way for them.
"I just wanted to be a mom," she said.u00a0"So however we did that, it's fine with me. I'd like to adopt again," she added.
