Pop's reigning star Katy Perry gave some career advice to up and coming singer Jessie J when they recently met in Australia.

Jessie, 23, asked the American star, how to deal with her sudden rise to fame and also move ahead in her career, reported Daily Mail online.
"It's nice to meet someone that has been through what I'm going through. She's super cool, very funny and almost looks unreal," said the Price Tag hitmaker about Perry.
"She told me to make sure I keep people I love around me. I didn't mean to get that serious, I was only meeting her for a minute and I was like, 'Can I have a counselling session please?'" said the British singer.

Jessie, who won the Critics' Choice award at the 2011 BRIT Awards, has recently admitted she finds coping with certain aspects of her new life.
