Morgan Freeman wearing compression glove on hand injured in 2008 car crash

Morgan Freeman, who suffered a horror car crash more than four years ago, is apparently still struggling to heal.


The 75-year-old actor stepped out in Beverly Hills, California, on Tuesday, wearing a compression glove on his damaged hand to enjoy dinner at top Japanese restaurant Matsuhisa with rumoured girlfriend and producing partner Lori McCreary.

Freeman had previously admitted to being in near constant pain as he is still suffering from fibromyalgia - chronic widespread pain - steaming from his broken shoulder, the Daily Mail reported.

Despite doctors promising that his hand would improve by 2011, the actor's left hand remains paralysed due to the severe nerve damage. u00a0He is now forced to wear a compression glove on the immobile limb to stop blood pooling in his hand.
