Martin, in video messages in English and Spanish to his millions of followers on social media sites, said yesterday the album would be called "A Quien Quiera Escuchar" ("To Whoever Wants to Listen") and will come out on February 10.
"We're going to have a very interesting year full of music, partying and romantic times," Martin, clad in a sleeveless T-shirt to reveal his heavily tattooed arms, said in the Spanish version.
Martin in October released the forthcoming album's first single, "Adios" ("Goodbye"), which brings a Latin beat to a tune inspired by 1930s burlesque.
The 42-year-old has sold millions of albums and proven to be of the most popular Latin crossover acts, winning a broad audience with songs such as "Livin' la Vida Loca," "Maria" and "La Copa de la Vida."
The album will be Martin's first since 2011's "Musica + Alma + Sexo" ("Music + Soul + Sex"), which featured songs both in Spanish and English and collaborations with artists ranging from reggaeton duo Wisin and Yandel to hard rock drummer Josh Freese.
Martin on Saturday ended 28 sold-out concerts in Mexico and is scheduled to tour Australia and New Zealand in April.
