Robert Pattinson has confessed that he actively seeks out reviews that slam his acting and hates watching himself on the screen.

The 29-year-old actor, who reads reviews to a fault, said that it's an awful thing to do, adding: "It's an addiction and you only read the bad ones, too, just to foster hatred, self-hatred, self-loathing," a website reports.
The Twilight star, who never considered going for the lead role of James Dean in his latest film Life, explained that he wouldn't even know where to begin.
Confessing that he often gets "embarrassed" at the gym and still worries about his acting abilities, Pattinson said that he is definitely very confused as he spent his whole 20s having no idea about what was going on.
Robert Pattinson now feels that he is gaining a bit of perspective, however, feels like "a fraud" and is in "turmoil" over a need to prove himself, but is not entirely sure what it is.
