Washington, D.C.: Sam Smith felt very welcomed to the beautiful world of Hollywood, which he does not belong to.

The 'Writing's on the Wall' singer, who attended the 2016 Golden Globes and picked up a prestigious award for 'Best Original Song in a Motion Picture', felt quite special being surrounded by the biggest stars in movies and TV, reports E! Online.

When interviewed after party, the 23-year-old Grammy winner said that he was in complete shock as he did not think it was going to happen.

After Grammy and Globe, may be Smith's kitty is waiting to bag the 2016 Oscar, whose nominations are set to be announced on January 14.
