Kerry Katona
Singer Kerry Katona was left "fearing for her life" after her former husband George Kay reportedly threatened to kill her. The former Atomic Kitten band member called the police after her mother was also threatened and has now got a restraining order against her Kay, who she split from last year after six years together. She claimed Kay became irate during a video call with their three-year-old daughter Dylan-Jorge, after the youngster is thought to have become distracted, according to the Sunday People.
Kay allegedly blamed Katona for the child's behaviour and threatened to kill her and her mother Sue. Sources close to the 37-year-old told thesun.co.uk: "Kerry feared for her life after the call and it was the last straw after what has been a difficult break-up. Her children will always come first so she's had a restraining order put in place.
"She was really upset that her mother was also brought into it." Sussex police said they were aware of the incident, but that no crime was reported. They said: "On Tuesday, March 6, 2018 we had call reporting a online Âconversation between a man and a woman living in Crowborough. "The Crowborough resident, who had concerns about the conversation, has been visited by police and while no crime has been recorded the matter has been noted for reference." Katona, 37, split from Kay last June and is currently facing a bitter court batter after he demanded a a million pounds divorce settlement.
