Tom Cruise believes 'acting job's as grueling as fighting war in Afghanistan'

In his deposition in the defamation case against a magazine publisher, who had claimed that the 51-year-old actor had abandoned daughter Suri, Cruise said that some of his filming locations feel just like serving a "brutal" tour in Afghanistan, TMZ.com reported.

Regarding his physical training, the 51-year-old actor asserted that there is difficult physical stamina and preparation. Cruise insisted that he has spent months, a year, and sometimes two years preparing for a single film.

However, Cruise's lawyer, Bert Fields, has claimed that the notion that Cruise compares his acting to fighting a war is a distortion.u00a0
