BTS sets 3 new Guinness world records for highest social media followers

K-pop group, BTS has set three new Guinness World Records on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. In February this year, BTS had reached 60,151,959 followers on Instagram, which is the biggest following of any music group on the platform. The 7 group members had made their Instagram debuts in December 2021 by opening individual accounts.

On TikTok where the group's official account has 45.7 million followers, making them the music group with the highest followers.

BTS is also the most followed music group ever on Twitter with over 44,167,059 followers. BTS now has a total of 28 world record titles and were inducted into the Guinness World Records Hall of Fame last year.
