Trevor Noah's fans in India received disheartening news when the comedian announced the last-minute cancellation of his Bengaluru shows. On Wednesday evening, coinciding with the scheduled performance date, Trevor took his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), to explain that unforeseen 'technical issues' compelled him to cancel the shows. He expressed his sincere apologies for any disappointment caused.
The performance, originally scheduled to commence at 7:30 pm, started nearly 30 minutes late due to Trevor Noah's own traffic-related delay. Regrettably, the show abruptly concluded shortly after it started, leaving a considerable number of audience members dissatisfied. During the show fans were seen complaining as they struggled to hear the speaker. Trevor Noah subsequently issued an announcement, cancelling both Bengaluru shows initially planned for September 27 and 28 at the venue. He expressed his apologies to the audience and pledged full refunds.

Taking to his X account, Trevor wrote, "Dear Bengalaru India, I was so looking forward to performing in your amazing city but due to technical issues we've been forced to cancel both shows." Trevor shows in Bangalore were scheduled to take place on September 27 and 28 at Manpho Convention Centre.
In the post, Trevor further added, "We tried everything but because the audience can't hear the comedians on stage there's literally no way to do a show. We'll make sure all ticket holders receive a full refund and again I'm so sorry for both the inconvenience and disappointment this has never happened to us before. (folded hands emoticon)"
Fans were evidently not happy with this last-minute cancellation. One wrote, "Trevor has been Bangalored, not in a nice way though! The joke is on Silicon City. :-(" Another said, "A minute of silence for those who braved the traffic of Bengaluru to get to this." A second fan wrote, "So those who missed the show because of traffic will get a refund because of cancellation. Blessing in disguise."
