Actor Matthew Perry passed away on October 28 leaving his legion of fans across the world in shock. He was laid to rest on Friday in the presence of his friends and family. According to People, the service was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles near Warner Bros. Studios. According to the report, Perry's costars from Friends- Jennifer Aniston Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer- were in attendance.
The funeral started at 3 pm PST and ended at 5 pm PST. The actor, who starred as Chandler Bing in the iconic sitcom âFriends', was confirmed dead after being found unresponsive in a hot tub in his Los Angeles home, âMirror.co.uk' reported. He was 54 years old. As per âMirror.co.uk', the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office is deferring the cause of death in an initial autopsy, pending toxicology results and further investigation, which could possibly take weeks to complete. Previous TMZ reports state that sources have suggested that no foul play is suspected and that no "illicit narcotics" were found on the premises.

After his demise, in a statement released to People, Perry's family said, "We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love."

Perry was best known for his performance as Chandler Bing in the American sitcom 'Friends'. His 'Friends' co-stars also issued a joint statement which read, "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family," their statement read. "There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."
"In time we will say more, as and when we are able," the statement continued. "For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."
