As a result of this labor dispute, the shooting of the film ‘Heads of State', featuring Priyanka Chopra and John Cena, was recently halted. The strike was initiated by the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) after failing to reach a new labor agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).

Reports indicate that due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, Hollywood is set to face a standstill, impacting film and TV production. Production of Heads Of State, featuring Priyanka Chopra alongside Idris Elba and John Cena, is expected to be delayed as Priyanka, a SAG-AFTRA member, cannot work on any project worldwide until an agreement is reached. Insiders suggest the strike may persist until early fall (September).
