Contrary to reports on the internet, Reese Witherspoon and Kevin Costner are not in a relationship. Following the speculation that the two actors were dating, a representative for Witherspoon, 47, told an international publication, "This story is completely fabricated and not true."

This is not the first time in recent months that the Hot Pursuit actor's representative has denied her relationship rumours. In April, representatives for both, Witherspoon and Tom Brady denied they were seeing each other. Back then, a source added that the two had never even met.

Witherspoon and ex-husband Jim Toth announced their breakup in a statement on March 24, and she officially filed for divorce on March 30.
