Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Rodrigo's Good 4 u, is honestly not good for you. As though the guitar-heavy lament on the end of a relationship doesn't make for a listen that's distasteful enough, the lyrics only make the experience cringe-worthy.
The third single of the Disney star's debut album, Sour, isn't far distanced from the themes she has explored in her previous tracks, like Drivers license and Deja vu. This one, though, lacks the sing-along quality of the other numbers, making it a vengeful monologue instead. The teenager may appeal to those her age, giving them lyrics that they can scream along to when encountering heartbreak. But, when pitted against the array of love tracks that have flooded the market of late, this one falls short of the mark.
