Alisha Dixon
Alisha Dixon's new single Worth your time: No
Six years after she released her last musical offering, Do it for love, Alisha Dixon treated fans to a fresh track, War, over the weekend. Unlike other Dixon-numbers (Every little part of me) that grab your attention from the word go, this one takes a while to gain your interest, and you might find yourself listening to the song more than once before being drawn to it.
Dixon, 42, is supported by a backing score that is every bit dance-worthy. However, neither her vocals, nor the lyrics seem to pack in the punch that the beats do. It kicks off with tunes that feel rather commonplace, however, it does offer a peppy summer score that could find takers in music aficionados gradually returning to partying as restrictions ease.
