The statement started off with, "Hello, This is BigHit Music. Thank you always for your heartfelt love and support for BTS. The agency continued, "Below is additional information for fans to keep note of throughout the artists' service period. The military barracks are communal spaces shared by military personnel for training together. If a large number of letters and gifts from the fans arrive at the centre all at once, it would be difficult to store them and they could be easily lost."
BTS agency also said, "Therefore, we kindly that fans refrain from sending anything by mail. Instead, BigHit Music will assist in making sure the artists are able to personally see any heartwarming messages fans leave on Weverse using the hashtags âDear_RM_from_ARMY', âDear_Jin_from_ARMY', âDear_SUGA_from_ARMY', âDear_jhope_from_ARMY', âDear_Jimin_from_ARMY', âDear_V_from_ARMY', âDear_JungKook_from_ARMY.'.
They added, "We would also like to ask for your cooperation during the recruit training graduation ceremony. In order to prevent any issues that might occur from crowding, we ask fans to please refrain from visiting the site. Instead, we ask you to keep your heartwarming words of support and farewell in your hearts."
BTS agency concluded their statement with, "We ask for your continued love and support for the BTS members until they complete their service and return. Our company will also strive to provide every support they need during this time. Thank you."
About BTS military service
Currently, BTS members Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook began their mandatory military service on Tuesday. A day after members Kim Namjoon and Kim Taehyung entered the military, the last two of the Bangtan Boys were seen enlisting. Older members Suga aka Min Yoongi and J-hope (real name Jung Hoseok) were present to send off the Jungkook and Jimin.
J-hope, who had enlisted in the military earlier this year, also shared photos from yesterday's gathering, when all seven BTS members came together to see off RM and V. He shared some snapshots from Tuesday where Jimin and Jungkook can be seen with their newly shaved heads, right before entering military training.
"Time will fly," wrote J-hope as he shared the photos. Each member has to complete 18 months minimum in the military, during which they will have to lead a very different life from what they are used to as K-pop idols, staying away from their band members, fans and family.
