BTS military discharge dates: Here's when Jin, Jimin, Suga, RM, Jungkook, J-Hope and V will return after their service

The South Korean band BTS are one of the most popular bands in the world. The seven-member team is currently on break as a group owing to their mandatory military service for the country. The members will gradually reunite as they all complete their service by 2025. Jin, the eldest member of the group will be the first to discharge as he was the first one to enlist. Presently, Suga is fulfilling his social service duties due to a shoulder injury, while the other members are fulfilling their military service obligations.

Here's a breakdown of when the members of the group will be returning:

Jin, the eldest member of BTS had enlisted for military services in December 2022. He is expected to return around June 10-15, 2024. Before enlisting, the singer had started his solo career with the release of the song 'Astronaut'. He is expected to carry on with his solo career once he returns until the members complete their service.

J-Hope, also known as Jung Hoseok began his military service on April 18, 2023. He is expected to finish his service in mid-October this year. Before his enlistment, he dropped his solo album 'Jack in the Box', featuring tracks such as 'Arson', 'More', and '=' (Equal Sign). Additionally, he released a documentary and collaborated on the song J-Hope on the Street with J. Cole.

BTS' Suga began his military career on September 22, 2023, and is set to be discharged on June 21, 2025. Currnetlt owing to a shoulder injury he is serving in the public sector instead of the military. Before joining the service, he released his first solo studio album called 'D-Day' under the name Agust D.

RM aka Kim Namjoon enlisted in the military on December 11, 2023, along with Kim Taehyung. His discharge date is set for June 10, 2025.

Like RM, Kim Taehyung also known as V is expected to return in June 2025. He had released his Billboard-charting album 'Layover' before the enlistment.

BTS member Jimin enlisted in the military on December 12, 2023, with an anticipated discharge in June 2025. Prior to his enlistment, he released his album 'Face' and a collaborative solo track titled 'Like Crazy'. He is also serving as the brand face for Dior.

Jungkook got enlisted along with Jimin under the military companion soldiers program. They are likely to return together in June 2025. Jungkook released his album Golden, featuring standout tracks like Standing Next To You, which continues to set records.
