In a surprising revelation that sparked significant online chatter, Jungkook shared his admiration for actor Ryan Gosling who plays Ken in Greta Gerwig's 'Barbie' alongside Margot Robbie and a brilliant ensemble cast. When asked if he wanted to watch the latest Barbie movie, Jungkook said that he intended to get tickets very soon!

Ever since his first solo song release on July 14, Jungkook has kept busy with multiple interviews and public appearances. He gave stunning live performances of his latest track 'Seven,' 'Euphoria' as well as a one-man rendition of BTS's 2020 summer hit, Dynamite at the Good Morning America concert series in Central Park, New York. He also made appearances on other popular radio shows, including SiriusXM, the Elvis Duran and Morning Show and BBC Live Lounge.
What set apart Jungkook's recent appearances was his natural, unedited photos showcasing his dusky skin complexion. Jungkook has also spent quality time with BTS's fandom, ARMY over various livestreams in the past month and increasingly spoken about growing more comfortable with presenting his 'natural' side, to ARMY - whether a makeup-free look or giving glimpses of his unfiltered personality. This shift was received positively by fans, who expressed their admiration for his natural look.
Ryan Gosling who plays 'Ken' in the movie, also addressed BTS member Jimin in a new video on the official Barbie page and mentioned that he broke the one cardinal rule of being âKen', "Never copy another Ken's style". He noticed that Jimin's âPermission To Dance' outfit is the same as his Ken outfit. The ensemble which is a whimsical cowboy outfit is one that created a craze like no other within the BTS fandom. Jimin is also an avid Ryan Gosling fan, with 'Notebook' being his favorite movie. Ryan Gosling abiding by the OG 'Ken code,' which is to present one's most prized possession if you copy another Ken's style, presented his guitar to Jimin.
In the video, Ryan Gosling is seen calling to Jimin and saying, "Had to give Jimin this (guitar) for his KEN-RGY! ('previously recorded')." He continues, "I have to give it to you - you wore it first, definitely wore it best. And there's an unspoken Ken code that if you copy another Ken's style, you have to give them your most prized possession. I hope you will accept Ken's guitar as my humble offering (sic.)"
