Jin wrote to his youngest brother Jungkook and thanked him for bringing energy and enthusiasm to the team. He also thanked him for patiently teaching him dance moves, and for having the same 'mental age' as him. All the members rotationally wrote letters to each other - and the memories, love and shared journey of hardship embedded in the emotional notes moved everybody to tears!

RM and Suga were the first members to become part of Bangtan Sonyeondan. Bonding over their shared love of lyricism and composition, the two used to often watch music shows and award shows in their dormitory right after BTS's debut. In 2016, when BTS won their first daesang (grand prize) for their WINGS album, they tearfully embraced and recalled how they never dreamt they would one day be on a stage they had only seen on-screen

The '95 liner Taehyung and Jimin friendship is legendary amongst Korean fandoms. The two have been inseparable since the beginning of their trainee days. Born in the same year, they could drop honorifics and speak comfortably with each other. Taehyung wrote a song for Jimin called '4 'o clock' - a track that expressed their late night conversations and consolations, an homage to their enduring friendship

BTS's Jimin is known for being the group's resident sensitive sweetheart. Break down or need an understanding ear? Jimin is right by your side. During the group's reality show 'Bon Voyage', where BTS were vacationing in Malta, Taehyung suddenly received news of his grandfather's passing. In a heartwarming scene, Jimin rushed to hug V - sometimes a friend's comforting presence is all you need

Jimin released his first solo single 'Promise' in 2018. The track was released on Souncloud. During a secret Santa game, Taehyung gifted a special CD to Jimin onto which he had burned the song - he told Jimin that 'this is the only CD in the world to have Promise!' These two are seriously friendship goals

The '95 liners bring an infectious energy to the group. Jimin and Taehyung are always partners-in-crime - be it while troubling their older hyungs J-Hope and Jin, goofing out or pranking the other members or being each other's most trusted confidantes. Their sweet hugs say it all!

BTS threw surprise birthday parties, to let each member know how special he is to the rest of the group. No matter how low their budget was, they always made sure to celebrate each person's birthday. This particular birthday, when Jungkook was 'pretend' scolded for not perfecting his dance moves during a shoot and then surprised with a birthday party remains a memorable moment for BTS and ARMYs alike. Look at how happy they are!

BTS also made sure to celebrate the anniversary of their group by looking back on the past year, cooking delicious meals and sharing funny anecdotes and favourite memories about each other. They also make sure to turn up for support during the solo releases of fellow members! For instance, the entire gang turned up on J-Hope's set when he was filming for his album 'HOPE world'

BTS's two oldest hyungs Jin and Suga are very close. Suga has often opened up to Jin about having regrets and a perfectionist mindset, while Jin advised Yoongi on how to let go to live a happier life. These two know each other very well - after all, they were roommates for a very long time!

Jin loves fishing - and Suga tags along just to make him happy! Now can there be a more precious bond than that?

Jungkook has often stated how Namjoon is one of his biggest musical inspirations - and the reason why he joined BigHit entertainment was because he was blown away by the to-be BTS leader's extraordinary rapping skills

RM is a role model for BTS's youngest - and the two often swap trade secrets on composition and lyricism, even helping each other with their songs!

BTS never forgets to thank ARMY at the beginning of any thank you speech after they've won an award. But next, they don't forget to thank each other - the ones who stuck through the ups and lows of being in the limelight. A group hug is mandatory after any win!

Namjoon and J-Hope are BTS's '94 liners. Although their friendship isn't quite as explicit as Jimin and Taehyung's, the two share a very close and foundational friendship on which BTS rests quite literally

In a conversation in Hawaii, Namjoon told J-Hope as to how he takes on the role of BTS's second leader by managing stage presence, public performances as well as the stable central glue which holds the group together. Together, the main leader and the performance leader guide BTS to new heights!

V and J-Hope also share a very cute relationship. The two are perhaps the two 'sunshine' members of the group - and J-Hope is often the only one in the hyung line who plays along and indulges Tae when he is in his cute, puppy mode

A particularly heartwarming moment was when J-Hope told V that he had never seen what a flamingo looks like during their vacation in Malta. Taehyung took it upon himself to win a stuffed flamingo toy especially for J-Hope and gifted it to him
