Another video of the star from Dear Comrade's promotion is also going viral. The actor was at an event where he was addressing the audience and while he was speaking, a fan ran from the crowd towards the stage only to touch Vijay's feet. The fan ran at such a speed that the star fell on the stage. However, the actor was as calm as a cucumber and asked the fan in jest if he was showing his love or attacking him.

Vijay has become a huge name in the Hindi film industry, courtesy - the Hindi remake of his film, Arjun Reddy. The Hindi remake was titled Kabir Singh which had Shahid Kapoor in the main lead and Kiara Advani as the female lead. The film is about a senior surgeon, who is on the path of self-destruction after he fails in love. Kabir Singh surpassed Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike and turned out to be the highest grosser of 2019 till date.

On the other hand, there are also reports of Shahid Kapoor turning extra cautious before signing his next film. Not just this, the actor has also been alleged of hiking his fee after Kabir Singh's success, which is the highest grosser film from Shahid's trajectory.

A few odd days ago, Vijay Deverakonda had visited Mumbai to meet Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar. The South superstar was here in the city with the makers of the film, Dear Comrade. They held a special screening of the film for Karan Johar. After watching the film, Johar fell in deep love with the film and announced that he has acquired the Hindi remake rights of producing this film. They also shared the news on his Instagram account.

As soon as he made this announcement, rumours of the filmmaker casting Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in the lead roles started doing the rounds. However, Karan Johar quashed the rumour. He also wished luck to the team of Dear Comrade which is now running in theatres.
