Tell us more about your new film, Shloka. Shloka, which is also my name in the film, is a heroine-oriented film. It's a thriller. When the director, Mahendar, who is a software engineer, approached me with the script, I readily agreed though I will be acting with a couple of newcomers.
Why did you disappear from Kannada films? We haven't seen a single film of yours in months now.u00a0
I do not want to analyse things. I have been busy with Telugu films. Samarthudu, which has been dubbed in Tamil as Edam Balam, and Police Police will be released later this month. My second Kannada film, Ee Sanje, will also be releasing at the same time.u00a0
Did you reject any Kannada film offers because you were busy with Telugu films? Yes, producer K Manju had approached me for a film, where he wanted to cast me opposite Yogish (Loose Madha), but I did not have the dates. My Telugu films have been keeping me busy.u00a0
Your dream role would be...I recently saw the Telugu movie Arundathi starring Anushka. The heroine's characteru00a0 has been wonderfully portrayed.u00a0 I would love to do a role like that someday.
Why did you decide to sign up as judge for a reality show on TV? I think reality shows are a fantastic platform for upcoming talent. I particularly enjoy watchingu00a0 children's performances. It amazes me that the kids take professional training and come so well prepared for the show. I have a lot to learn from them.
