Kishan (13), whose C/O Footpath won awards by the bushel, is scouting for actors for his next film

Once more? Kishan, who entered the Guinness Book for making a film when he was 10 years old, is hoping to create another record this year with his next film

He made it to the Guinness Book of Records when he was all of 10 years for directing and acting in a poignant film on street kids called C/O Footpath. Three years later, he's taking another crack at the records. Kishan Shrikanth, popularly known as Master Kishan, will direct his next film and act in it.u00a0

The film, on parent-child relationships in urban India, will be shot in four South Indian languages simultaneously.u00a0u00a0

"Yes, he is working on his next film," Shrikanth HR, Kishan's father, told HiT LiST. "He is in talks with actors and technicians. He will finalise the star cast very soon."u00a0

This 13-year-old, who is studying in class 9 and pursuing an online program in virtual engineering, says his second film will also be for children. His last outing, C/O Footpath, won 11 international awards, including The Chamber of the Deputies Award and The Children's Right Award at the Giffoni International Film Festival in Italy in 2007.

"Kishan is working on the script and shooting will commence in August. This will be the first film to be shot by any director at the age of 13," gushed Shrikanth, his proud papa.u00a0

Kiran Movie Makers, the family banner, will produce the film. The pint-sized kid, who had roped in Jackie Shroff, Tara and Saurabh Shukla for C/O Footpath hopes to get "big names" to act on his yet-to-be-titled film.
