Trust Ram Gopal Varma, Bollywood's bona-fide ambulance chaser, to jump on to the publicity bandwagon, soon after Tamil Nadu's CM Jayalalitha's (above left) death, and announce a film on her life. The Mohanlal-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer 'Iruvar', helmed by Ramu's contemporary Mani Rathnam, you may recall, was loosely based on MGR's life, with more than a touch of Amma in it.

But clearly that's not the serious yet entertaining stuff you may expect from Ramu anymore. He says he's going to look at Jayalalitha's life through her long-time right-hand woman Sasikala's (above right) eyes. He tweets, "Jayalalitha ji respected Sasikala ji much more than she respected anybody else proves why I should call my film Shasikala." And there is much controversy over Amma's death too. Well, aren't you dying to catch Ramu's film? Okay, let's save that answer for later.
