Having successfully navigated plenty of controversy, Jothegara will hit the screens on Friday. The hero, Prem, who is still miffed with producer Ashwini Ramprasad for not paying him the promised fee, has set aside his ego and agreed to be part of the promos.
Director Sigamani says he is confident his film will set the box office on fire, as it is realistic in tone and treatment.
Explaining that he has done everything he could to complete the film on schedule, he said he even called a halt to the shooting in Bangkok and took his cast and crew to Kulu Manali, just to picturise a song, because of bad weather in Bangkok.
"We have recreated the grandeur associated with a traditional feudal family of yore, and that's the film's USP," saidu00a0 Ramprasad.
