Gippy Grewal and Hina Khan starrer âShinda Shinda No Papa' is out in theatres, already creating a stir because of the perfect comedy element the film has to offer, along with a strong message that it puts out for the audience. Marking her debut in Punjabi films, Hina Khan has made quite a stellar entry into the industry. Playing the role of Gippy Grewal's wife and Shinda Grewal's mother in the film, Hina's performance has been liked by the audience.
Speaking about her experience shooting in Chandigarh for the film she states, "I was away from Mumbai for more than a month while shooting in Chandigarh. Luckily the cast and crew ensured that I felt at home while staying there. It was lovely to see the warmth I received from everyone. They were always making me try their food specialties, from the lassi to the chole bhature, I was always being fed well by the team!"
"Chandigarh is also a very very beautiful city. The green fields that we shot in for some of our scenes were just so well-kept, so beautiful and it was such a joy shooting there. People were lovely, so simple, always greeting us with so much love wherever we shot in the city. I truly loved the entire experience of shooting for the film there", says Hina.
'Shinda Shinda No Papa' is a heart-warming family comedy, helmed by director Amarpreet GS Chhabra. The film is written by Naresh Kathooria. Set in Canada and India, 'Shinda Shinda No Papa' follows the life of Gopi, his wife, and their mischievous ten-year-old son, Shinda. With a desi twist to the popular rhyme 'Johnny, Johnny, Yes Papa' with a peppy number showcasing the tussle between father and son, the teaser hints at a unique premise and promises a rollercoaster of emotions, humor, and the complexities of modern parenting.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hina will be seen in the comedy-drama series 'Namacool'. It follows the journey of two best friends, Mayank and Piyush, as they embark on a mission to uncover the true meaning of manhood while navigating their college life.
The show also stars Aaron Kaul, Abhinav Sharma, Abhishek Bajaj, Anushka Kaushik, Faisal Malik, and Aadil Khan in pivotal roles. Written by Shantanu Srivastava and directed by Ritam Srivastav, the seven-episode series sets the stage for a comical adventure that will keep audiences glued to the screen. 'Namacool' will soon stream on Amazon miniTV.
