Nagarjuna and Dhanush
On superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni's birthday, the makers of Dhanush's next 'D51' officially announced that the actor will be a part of the film. While rumours of nagarjuna being a part of the film was doing the rounds, the official announcement was made by the makers on the actor's 64th birthday. The film is being directed by National Award-winning director Sekhar Kammula.
The makers who were looking for a star performer for this multi-starrer film, signed Nagarjuna Akkineni as they felt "Who better than our very own 'King' to light up the screen with his charisma". They made the announcement today on the occasion of Nagarjuna's birthday and fans of both the stars will be looking forward to see them sharing screen space. Sekhar Kammula, who is known for his exceptional films, wrote a unique subject to present Dhanush in a never-before-seen character.
This epic multi-starrer project is being produced grandly by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, with the blessings of Shri Narayan Das K Narang, under their banner Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP (A Unit Of Asian Group), in association with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Sonali Narang presents the movie.
The movie that is yet to go on floors has already been generating huge buzz lately after Rashmika was signed as the leading lady. The makers will soon announce the other cast and crew of the movie. This will be Rashmika Mandanna's first association with Dhanush, Sekhar Kammula, and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP.

Meanwhile, earlier today, the title and first look of Nagarjuna's 99th film was also announced. The film has been titled 'Naa Saami Ranga' and portrays Nagarjuna in an out-and-out massy avatar. The first thing that comes to our minds after hearing the title is the iconic song- Naa Saami Ranga from ANR's cult hit Sipayi Chinnayya. Popular choreographer Vijay Binni who worked on many noted movies is making his directorial debut with the movie billed to be a Mass Jatara. Legendary composer MM Keeravani who provided many chartbuster albums for Nagarjuna and won the Oscar Award and National Award for his work in RRR will be scoring the music for the movie. The blockbuster writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada provided story and dialogues for the film that will have some well-known technicians to helm different crafts.
