In a significant move to support wildlife conservation efforts, Kantara star Rishab Shetty has been appointed as the ambassador of the prestigious Save Wildlife Campaign and will be hosting Season 4. The previous seasons of the campaign were led by renowned actor Prakash Raj and the 3rd season by Sri Murali respectively.
Save Wildlife Campaign is an initiative by Asianet Suvarna News and Kannada Prabha, aiming to raise awareness about the challenges faced by the forest department personnel and the communities living in the vicinity of wildlife habitats. The campaign strives to address the ever-increasing human-animal conflicts and explore solutions to promote peaceful coexistence.
Rishab Shetty has seen one of the biggest turnaround of his career as an actor but despite the busy schedule he has, he is also known to be a family man as he always prioritizes his family before anyone and everything. Meanwhile, Rishab Shetty is looking forward to taking the audience back to the roots and culture with the prequel of his globally hit Kantara in the making.
Kantara was released in Kannada and Hindi versions on September 30th and October 14th, respectively. The film is written and directed by Rishab Shetty. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under Hombale Films, the film features Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, and Kishore Kumar G in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, the actor recently dismissed rumours of him joining politics. He clarified his stand on joining politics on social media and said that he is not joining politics. He also appealed to fans to support his cinema. Rishab Shetty, reacting to a tweet by a journalist that he is joining politics, stated: please state that it is a false news. Say clearly that today is April 1. âFew people have already projected me as a supporter of a certain party. I will never go into politics,' he underlined.
One of his fans had reacted that he should join politics, and he will support him. Rishab Shetty told him that he does not need his support in politics. âPlease support my cinemas; that is more than enough,' he stated.
