The highly anticipated film 'Kalki 2898 AD' starring Prabhas has a new release date. The producers announced on Saturday, April 27th, that the movie will be hitting theaters on June 27th.

During a recent event where Nag Ashwin interacted with movie fans, he was asked about the comparisons between 'Kalki 2898 AD' and the Hollywood film "Dune." In response, the director said, "Yeah! (Laughed) That is because you see sand. Wherever you see sand, it looks like Dune."
Comparing "Kalki" to a Hollywood film isn't new. The concept, production, and visuals all have a grand scale reminiscent of Hollywood. The makers have clearly put immense effort into making "Kalki 2898 AD" visually spectacular.

The makers of Nag Ashwin's upcoming movie 'Kalki 2898 AD' have announced the new release date for the film. The film which was earlier scheduled to hit the theatres on May 9, 2024 will now be released in theatres on June 27, 2024. The film boasts of an interesting ensemble including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan.
Taking to the official handle of the movie on X (formerly Twitter), they wrote, "All the forces come together for a better tomorrow on ΓΒ°ΓΒΓΒΓΒΓΒ°ΓΒΓΒΓΒ-ΓΒ°ΓΒΓΒΓΒΓΒ°ΓΒΓΒΓΒ-ΓΒ°ΓΒΓΒΓΒΓΒ°ΓΒΓΒΓΒΓΒ°ΓΒΓΒΓΒΓΒ°ΓΒΓΒΓΒ."
