Tamil actress Karthika Nair ties the knot with Rohit; Chiranjeevi, Jackie Shroff and others attend wedding

Veteran Telugu actress Radha's daughter, Karthika Nair, tied the knot with Rohit Menon in Kerala on Sunday. The couple got married in a grand star-studded ceremony in the presence of family members, friends and colleagues.

"Our Royal fairytale Begins. Blessed and grateful," wrote Karthika on her Instagram page while sharing a picture with Rohit. She was dressed in a red and golden bridal outfit with a long veil. Rohit wore a cream-coloured attire. He planted a kiss on her forehead and the camera captured the beautiful moment.

The grand wedding was attended by celebrities like Chiranjeevi, Revathy, Radikaa, Jackie Shroff, Suhasini Maniratnam to name a few. Radikaa shared pictures on X, formerly known as Twitter, and wrote, "Celebrating @KarthikaNair9 and Rohit wedding in Trivandrum, with our #radha and family, @KChiruTweets @revathitweets @hasinimani @UngalKBhagyaraj and Poornima."

Karthika and Rohit's wedding festivities kickstarted last week. Sharing a picture with him, the actress wrote, "Meeting you was Destiny. Falling for you was just sheer magic. Countdown for our forever begins."

The actress announced her engagement on October 19. She posted a picture on Instagram flaunting her diamond ring. Karthika captioned it just with an evil-eye emoji.

Karthika, who is veteran actress Radha's daughter, followed her mother's footsteps into the film industry. She was launched in showbiz with the 2009 Naga Chaitanya-starrer Josh. It marked the lead pair's debut and failed to ignite a spark at the box office. The actress did films in languages like Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Karthika's last film in her filmography was Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai in 2015. She ventured into television and starred in the show Aarambh in 2017.

Radha was a popular actor in the '80s. The Telugu actress was born as Udaya Chandrika in the Thiruvananthapuram district in Kerala. She quit acting after tying the knot with Rajasekaran Nair, a hotelier, in 1991. Radha has two daughters and a son.

During her acting career, Radha worked with several top-billed actors. She had an illustrious career. Radha teamed up with major names including superstars like NTR, ANR, Krishnam Raju, Krishna, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna and others. Karthika is her elder daughter.
