On Thursday, Malayalam filmmaker Vineeth Sreenivasan announced his sixth directorial. The film written and directed by him will feature an interesting ensemble cast, reuniting him with actors he has worked with in the past.
Vineeth took to his social media handle to make the official announcement of the film. Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Nivin Pauly, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese, Neeraj Madhav among others would be seen in this film that is produced by Merryland Cinemas.
Vineeth Sreenivasan's last directorial 'Hridayam' was released in January 2022 in theatres. It and was a massive hit. Featuring Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Darshana Rajendran, the film was a coming of age romantic drama. The film will now be remade in Hindi.

Meanwhile, Vineeth Sreenivasan will also be reuniting with Nivin Pauly with 'Varshangalkku Shesham'. Vineeth made his directorial debut with the film 'Malarvaadi Arts Club' in 2010. The film also marked the debut of actor Nivin Pauly and Aju Varghese. The trio them worked together in the 2012 romantic film 'Thattathin Marayathu' which was a massive hit. Vineeth last directed Nivin Pauly in the film 'Jacobinte Swargarajyam' released in 2016. Aju Varghese was seen in the film in a special role. Nivin Pauly and Aju Varghese also starred together in the film 'Oru Vadakkan Selfie' which had Vineeth Srinivasan as the writer.
Reportedly, Nivin Pauly will be seen in a guest role in 'Varshangalkku Shesham' which will be headlined by Pranav Mohanlal, son of superstar Mohanlal. Reportedly, the film is inspired by the early life of actors Mohanlal and Sreenivasan who have worked together in several films. Sreenivasan had recently revealed that director Priyadarshan wanted to bring him and Mohanlal together for a film. It would be interesting to see their kids making a film inspired by their life.
The Mohanlal-Sreenivasan combo has only rarely disappointed Malayalam cinema viewers. From films like Nadodikattu (1987), Pattanapravesam (1988), Akkare Akkare Akkare (1990), 'Mukunthetta Sumitra Vilikkunnu' (1988) and 'Sanmanassullavarkku Samadhanam' (1986) to 'Chandralekha' (1997), 'Midhunam' (1993), 'Udayananu Tharam' (2005) and 'Mazha Peyyunnu Maddalam Kottunnu' (1986), the duo always hit the home run.
