Yash on the success of 'KGF: Chapter 2': Hope you are enjoying the film and continue enjoying it

The success of the KGF franchise has taken the nation by storm. Feeling extremely grateful for the mind-blowing response KGF: Chapter 2 has received, Yash shared a video on Instagram where the star showed gratitude towards his fans who made his film a big success.

In the video, Yash narrates an anecdote where he says, "There was a small village which was facing a situation of drought for quite some time so the villagers decided to have a prayer meet and people turned out in large numbers but there was one boy who turned out with an umbrella. Some called it over confidence but eventually you know what that was - Faith. I am like that Little boy who had the faith of witnessing this day. and I am in a situation where thankyou is big enough but still I would like to thank each one of you from the bottom of my heart. On behalf of the entire KGF team,I would like to say that we are very grateful. I hope you are enjoying the film and continue enjoying it. At the end I would like to say that guys your heart is my tent!"

The film has started to show its effect at the box office since the opening of pre-booking windows that has raised the bar of expectations which is showing the multiplier effect post its release. With a grand opening on the release day, the film is breaking the records with each succeeding day. After becoming the highest 2nd day grosser, the film successfully collected 42.9 Cr. net in the Hindi Market individually, which makes it collect 143.64 Cr. which is the highest 3-day collection for any film in the Hindi belt. The box office figures show the madness and the craze of the audience for the film and it's just the beginning.

Released nationwide on April 14, 2022, in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam, K.G.F.: Chapter 2 is written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under the Hombale Films banner. One of the emerging pan-India production houses, Hombale Films is set to showcase some of the biggest films over the next two years, including the much-awaited film ‘Salaar' starring Prabhas.

The film is being presented in North-Indian markets by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment and AA Films. Excel has films like Dil Chahata Hai, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dil Dhadakne Do, and Gully Boy to only name a few.
