In a bid to keep details about Amitabh Bachchan's upcoming TV show, 'Yudh', under wraps, the producers have sent out a gag order to the cast and crew. They have been told not only to keep mum, but also to not take calls or reply to SMSes from the media failing which they will face disciplinary action.
Amitabh Bachchan features in a pivotal role in Yudh
Ever since the show was announced last year, the makers preferred to be tightlipped about its content. Now that the first look has been launched - it was aired during the IPL finale on Sunday - there has been a great deal of curiosity surrounding the show.
Says a source, "The countdown for the show has started, so the makers are on their guard now. This is why a diktat has been sent out."
'Yudh' has Anurag Kashyap as the series director with Shoojit Sircar as a creative consultant while Anurag's former assistant, Ribhu Sengupta, is the episode director. Big B, who apparently plays a construction magnate in the show, is its producer along with Endemol.
