Ruhanika Dhawan's birthday bash with 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' co-stars

Child artist Ruhanika Dhawan, who is seen as Pihu in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein", was floored with a special birthday party organised by her co-stars.

Actress Divyanka Tripathi, who essays the role of Pihu's mother in the Star Plus show, surprised her onscreen daughter with a pre-birthday celebration on Saturday. Ruhanika turned nine on Sunday.

"Ruhanika is very close to my heart and I had been preparing for her birthday for quite some time now. The younger cast helped me prepare for a surprise for Ruhanika," Divyanka said in a statement.

"This is the very reason that even after the show taking a leap we wanted to retain Ruhanika as she's the angel on our show and brings along happiness," she added.

Ruhanika, who was elated with the surprise, said: "I was so happy after seeing the gifts everybody got for me and the way they planned my surprise."
