After winning the sixth season of "India's Got Talent", gymnast Manik Paul now desires to work with director-choreographer Remo D'Souza.
Paul, 22, known for his breath-taking aerial acts on the show, said the comments of Remo D'Souza, who praised him on the show's semi-final episode, "inspired" him to give his best.
"I am a big fan of Remo sir. The happiest moment in my life was when he praised me on the show. I could not control my tears. His comments inspired me a lot," Paul told PTI.
Kolkata boy Paul, who said he has followed and loved the work of Remo very closely, wished to work with the "ABCD 2" director in the future "I would love to work with him. I don't know if he knows I won but I am sure he would be happy to know that I worked hard and won the title. I hope he will call me one day."
While Paul was busy gearing up for his performance, which ultimately got him the coveted title, he said he sneaked out and watched the 3D-dance film "ABCD 2" that gave him the required push to perform better.
"I watched 'ABCD 2' and was highly inspired looking at all the performances, energy and passion. That gave me a boost to perform harder and give my best in the final."
The sixth season of the Colors reality show was judged by filmmaker Karan Johar, actress-producer Malaika Arora Khan and actress Kirron Kher.
Paul bagged the position after beating five finalists, shadow-artist Prahlad Acharya, Punjabi singers Harmanpreet Kaur and Parry G, Thane-based dance group XIX, Beat Breakers and Maharashtrian talent Yogeshwari Mistry.
