Anupamaa Update: Distances increase in Anuj and Anupamaa’s relationship, Kinjal comes back home and finds something amiss

The day starts off with Baa ‘all set to leave' Anuj's residence with her packed bag, not before she taunts everyone about how she has become a burden to them. Anuj says that, even though she has mistaken everything like always, but, this time round, he will not stop her from going. Seeing all this, Anupamaa breaks down uncontrollably. That's when Kaavya calls Anupamaa to give her the good news that she and Vanraj have got a job. She also adds that she now really understands the importance of a husband-wife spending quality time together… just the two of them. That's when Anupamaa does a mental introspection and realizes her mistakes (read ‘shortcomings').

Even though Kaavya comes under the ‘sway' of Anupamaa's talks, Anuj still feels something amiss in the house. Back home, while Anuj is ready to leave for work for an important meeting with an international client, Anupamaa tries to be a ‘dutiful wife'. With a heavy heart though, Anuj decides to ignore all of Anupamaa's efforts and gets ready for the meeting. That's when everyone present speaks about their respective New Year's plans, leaving Anuj and Anupamaa all by themselves.

Amidst all this, Kinjal comes back home to see her baby Pari and senses that something is not right in the house.

SPOILER ALERT: After Babuji leaves with Anuj to see his friend, he ‘almost' meets with an accident with a truck while he is standing in the middle of the road and talking on his mobile phone. That's when Anuj rushes back home to know that Babuji has been missing for many hours. On the other hand, while Vanraj and Kaavya are enjoying their New Year's Party, Baa calls him up and starts with her sob-story, thus infuriating Vanraj.
