Personal life
In an interview with mid-day.com before he entered the Bigg Boss 15 house, Vishal said, "I grew up in Dagdi chawl, so selling Salman Khan (film) tickets in black helped me pay my school and college fees and other expenses. People may not remember movies like Veergati but I do! I benefited more from Veergati than Salman did. I still remember paying my 9th class fees by selling tickets of âBandhan' in black."
He further added that he managed to better his circumstances later, but these memories will always stay with him.
Vishal, in an interview, has also confessed to being in a relationship since the past couple of years. "Right now, things are still being planned and discussed. I will reveal more details about my partner, the engagement and my marriage when the time is right," he told ETimes.
Controversies
In 2017, Vishal Kotian alleged that his 'Har Mushkil Ka Hal Akbar Birbal' co-star Kiku Sharda got him ousted from a TV show titled 'Partners', where they both were to be the lead characters. Vishal alleged that Kiku used his stardom to get him out of the show. Kiku, however, refuted these claims.
