Nakuul Mehta's son Sufi has tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this week. Jankee Parekh, Nakuul's wife, shared some details about their son's update in an interview with The Quint. Jankee revealed the news on social media with an Instagram post, which later made other actors talk about their kids fighting with the virus. Kishwer Merchant and Aditee Malik's babies were also tested Covid-19 positive.
Jankee started by mentioning how the duo was struck by the outbreak first. "Nakuul had tested positive, after a couple of days I tested positive. When I tested positive, I was like, we have avoided Covid for a very long time, and finally, I got it, and I kind of in my head made a joke about it that it has reached me and cool, we will quarantine. Little did I know that it's going to affect Sufi in such a way."
She later revealed how Sufi was affected by the disease. Jankee also mentioned how they monitored their baby, which was alarming. "In the same evening Sufi got a fever and I was like what do we do know. So we were monitoring him, his fever kept on increasing by 100, 102, 104. At midnight it reached 102 and we did water sponges."
"The scary part was when he had 104.2 fever and when I check him, he was burning with fever and he was not moving. Parents think if the baby is uncomfortable, the baby would get up and cry and this baby was not moving. And while driving to the hospital, I remember in the entire drive I was tapping on his face and I was just calling up his name, just making sure there is some kind of movement but he was just not moving," continued Jankee.

"More blood tests were conducted, he was put on IV, but after a few days he began recovering", concluded the mother on 10-month-old son.
