Karan Wahi
Mumbai is known for its cafes, be it quaint or vibrant ones! Today, Karan Wahi recently seen in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi - Made in India joins us as we go café hopping. Find out which favourite hangouts made it to his list!
Your favourite café in Mumbai...
I am not too much of a going out person even now ,thanks to Covid but among the few places I have been in the last year ,I really like this cafe called LaGwa in Versova .It's owned by a friend of mine called Aryaman and he runs it along with his friend and partner. The beauty of the place is that it has a very homely vibe to it ,it's like going to a friend's place . With some great ambience the food here is really good.
The dishes and drinks on the menu that you always order...
The most important reason that I go there is the cold coffee is my favourite. The French omelet, the pasta and the granola bowl are few of the many things I love. The Kokum juice is also one of my favourite drinks ,because u usually don't find that everywhere. It's healthy, tasty and super refreshing
The café with impressive décorâ¦
The decor is very interesting as it amalgamates the cafe furniture which is eye pleasing and simple and paintings of artists who would want to show case their work through the cafe. It blends so well because it also is like giving back to the community.

The café in which you have most memories with your friends...
It's my friends so I am always there with other friends so I guess we have a lot of memories because it feels like it's our own place.
Your favourite café for dessert...
The brownie shake is a mouthful.
Favourite café close to homeâ¦
I also love the fact that its located in a neighbourhood so it gives you that nice feel to just walk down for a coffee or to just enjoy the place and see art work or other aspects that people showcase at LaGwa. All in all I feel the reason you would go to a cafe would be to interact ,meet people and have a great time, then this is the place.
