Naagin 5 wraps up the schedule; Surbhi Chandna, Mohit Sehgal, Sharad Malhotra pose for a team picture

The makers have Naagin 5 wrapped up the last schedule of the show on February 2, and the entire team couldn't stop sharing their excitement on social media. Surbhi Chandna, Mohit Sehgal, Sharad Malhotra, who played a pivotal role in this supernatural show, posed for a fun-filled picture and uploaded it on the photo-sharing portal.

Speaking about the show Naagin 5, Sharad Malhotra and Surbhi Chandna's on-screen chemistry was loved by the audience. In fact, their fans even coined the name VeBa for them, from their character names Veer and Bani. Even the actor was in awe of his co-star's performance and confessed that their energies match somewhere.

In a media interaction earlier, "I was nervous about taking up this character, as I have never played a negative character on-screen. This being the first, I had apprehensions, but at the same time, I felt it's an opportunity where it does well or it does bad, there won't be anything in between. People have seen me play a good guy, the very adarsh sanskaari beta, the warrior, the romantic guy, but I was taken by surprise when Ekta ma'am offered me this role, and hats off to her vision."

The fifth season that premiered on 9 August 2020, had Surbhi Chandna, Sharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal as Bani, Veer and Jay, playing pivotal roles.

A spinoff titled Kuch Toh Hai - Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein is introduced to be launched on 7 Feb replacing Naagin 5. Stemming from the Naagin universe, Kuch Toh Hai will showcase another take on the forbidden love story of Naagin and Cheel ahead. Marked by the consequences of their unusual union, Kuch Toh Hai will be replete with mystic elements and will focus on the love story of two people- Priya and Rehan who are destined to not be together.
