Actor Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain made waves on Bigg Boss 17 with their frequent arguments, becoming strong contenders for the trophy but falling short. Despite not winning, they earned immense love from the audience and even received praise from the show's host, Salman Khan.

After the season ended with Munawar Faruqui as the winner, Ankita Lokhande met Salman, who offered her a single piece of advice: to start a family. On Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiya's vlog with Vicky, Ankita mentioned that she met with Salman Khan after the wrap of the season. She shared, "Salman sir ne merko advice di thi jab main unse milne gayi thi, season khatam hone ke baad."
Revealing what Salman said, "âEk hi baat bol raha hun, bachcha kar lo.' I was like, âSir, kya bol rahe ho?' (Salman sir gave me just one piece of advice when I went to see him after Bigg Boss 17 ended. He said, âI am telling you only one thing, have a baby.' I was like, âSir, what are you saying)"

Ankita mentioned that she got a bit awkward, Salman persisted, "No, I am telling you. Just have a baby." Ankita shared that the Bollywood superstar only had good intentions, "He meant that after a child, a couple grows stronger together."

Before going to Bigg Boss 17, hosted by Salman Khan, Ankita spoke to Mid-Day.com exclusively about her decision to do the show which was offered to her several times in the past."They [The makers of Bigg Boss] have approached me every year. There were endless rumours of me doing the show. This time, I decided to give a surprise to the audience and take the plunge. The only motivation behind doing Bigg Boss 17 was my audience," shared Ankita.
Speaking of being judged for her actions on Bigg Boss 17, Ankita said, "It's their opinion. Everybody has their own opinion and in my life, people have always had their own opinion, so let them do their job. I won't even know what's going on inside, so I will play the game according to my mind."
They tied the knot in December 2021 in a grand ceremony in Mumbai. Dismissing chances of their relationship facing problems on the show, the actress said, "I'm confident about our relationship and bond, because up till now, all the things we've faced, all the good moments we've shared, all the family things, we've done it together. I think we're ready for it and that's why we're here. We're having a very good, happy married life, so nothing to worry about. We'll manage it accordingly.
