&Tv's hit comedy show 'Happu Ki Ultan Paltan', will see a new entry with actress Sapna Sikarwar playing Bimlesh, the sister of lead character Rajesh aka Rajjo (Kamna Pathak). Sapna has been part of comedy shows like 'FIR' and 'May I Come in Madam', in the past. Speaking to mid-day.com, the actress tells us all about her new role.
Sapna says, "My character Bimlesh has a fun loving personality. She loves her husband but also fights with him a lot, like any normal couple. She loves indulging in makeup and being stylish, she's absolutely bindaas and does not care about what others think of her."

The actress adds that she did not require any special prep. "I understand the role and add my own improvisations, once I get into my look I completely transform into the character of the show. I enjoy observing people in real life and incorporate any fun nuances that I see in people into my roles."

She has just started shooting for the show, but Sapna says she already feels at home, "I had been working with the same unit on my previous show for 12-13 years so this isn't new to me. However, it's the first time that I'm working with my onscreen sister played by Kamna, though she made me feel absolutely comfortable. Everyone on set is very supportive."
All Sapna's shows have been comedies does she plan to experiment with other genres? "I had won an award for âBest comedy actor' for 'FIR' and it's a genre I feel comfortable with. I would like to do a negative role in the future, or something like the late Sridevi did in âSadma'."
