For those who have lived through the 90's will ‘swear' by the popularity that he had enjoyed as ‘Mihir Virani', the iconic character from the iconic serial ‘Kyukii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. This year saw Amar making a comeback of sorts with the serial ‘Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho' not just as an actor, but also as a producer.

Whenever mentions the name of ‘Roadies', one of the immediate faces that used to pop us in our memories was that of Rannvijay Singh, the very man, who was synonymous with the adventure-based reality show ‘Roadies'. Even though he was the judge on the show, he was everyone's BFF and friend cum brother!

Many may feel as to what a bonafide mainstream silver screen actor like Sonu Sood is doing amidst the ‘TV' newsmakers. Well, let us tell you that, Sonu Sood created a history of sorts when he replaced ALL the mentors / judges of Roadies and became the show's host!

He has been missing since the last few episodes as he had to go back to Kazakhstan for a ‘life-changing' opportunity of a lifetime. There are very strong rumors about him coming back to the reality show.

This host-turned-actor-turned-filmmaker sent shockwaves across the media and social media when he was announced as one of the contestants in the ongoing reality show ‘Bigg Boss'. At first, many thought of it as a joke or a prank, but, when they got to know that Sajid was surely a contestant, it definitely shocked and surprised many. Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi, who was one of the popular faces in the world of entertainment, breathed his last during early November this year while he was working out in the gym. Popularly known as Anand Surryavanshi, he is survived by his wife Alesia Raut and two children.

Deepesh Bhan
This year also saw the sad and untimely demise of Deepesh Bhan, who was best known for playing the role of Malkhan in the hit TV show ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai'. The actor was playing cricket when he met with a sad end. Deepesh Bhan is survived by his wife and one-year-old child. Wasting no time, Saumya Tandon (his co-star from ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai') played an angel in the late actor's life by arranging for crowdfunding. The late Deepesh Bhan's wife took to social media and posted, "After his sudden demise in July, I was obviously very much emotionally disturbed, but also financially disturbed. I had a huge loan on this house and no way or backing to repay it. During that time, Saumya Tandon from 'Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai' came into my life. She helped me so much that I have repaid that amount within one month only."
