This weekend, get ready for excitement to hit the roof as Zee TV's clutter-breaking reality show Indian Pro Music League will present an enthralling Super match consisting of all six teams.
The race to the finale has kickstarted and you will see all the teams going all out to secure their spot in the top four. However, it was special guest and Ambassador of Bengal Tigers, Govinda, who stole the show during the shoot. Chi Chi, along with his wife, Sunita and daughter, Tina, was seen as special guests on this 90s special episode and the Govinda fever took over the Indian Pro Music League stage. After Delhi Jammers' spectacular performance to Dil se, Waada raha and Ankhon ki gustakhiyan, Ankush requested Govinda if he could come on the stage and dance to his favourite Sajid-Wajid composition âSoni De Nakhre.' Govinda agreed and left everyone spellbound with a marvelous dance performance.
But after the dance, Sajid revealed a funny anecdote about the song. He mentioned how he had advised Salman Khan about needing to practice harder than ever for Soni De Nakhre. Delhi Jammers' captain Sajid recalled how he had told Govinda at Salman Khan's party, âChichi Bhaiya, I am going to make you dance a lot in this song.' Sajid further added, "I remember I looked at Salman Bhai and I started laughing. So bhai asked me 'why are you laughing so much?' I said that Partner's songs are amazing and Govinda is there with you, so better practice well. Even he laughed, but put in that much effort too. The movie worked because they were complimenting each other in the film and the song".
Govinda also added, "A movie works when the song works. I believe that if my film has worked, it is not because of me, but because of the songs in it. So, I am very thankful to you Sajid, Soni De Nakhre was really fantastic." While Govinda and his family will surely entertain you all, wait till you see the six teams putting their best foot forward in this âAkhri Daur'.
The actor's daughter Tina had a revelation to make about her Superstar father. She mentioned during the shoot, "I remember we were abroad for some show and 'Coolie No.1' had just released a year ago. While shopping, I went gaga over this life size doll house and dad bought it for me. But the problem was that it was massive and impossible for me to carry. So, he was the one who had to bear the pain of carrying that huge house and seeing him carrying it around made me think of the title of his film. He might be âCoolie No.1' for the world, but for me he is my Papa who will not think twice to even become a real-life coolie for his daughter."

While sharing another interesting anecdote from his filmy career, Govinda revealed how he never thought before signing films. and while his films were not doing well initially, Tina's birth changed things around for him and hence, he considers her as his lucky charm. As he revealed during the shoot, "I was this one artist who never planned anything, but signed films as and when they came. I never really analysed which film would do wonders for me and at one point I had signed nearly 75 films. At that time, Dilip Kumar ji had recommended that I leave as many as 25 films, which I did. But I still had 50 films lined up and by god's grace after Tina was born, half a dozen of those films hit the box office and became mega hits. I think I got lucky when she came into our life."
He added, "The âGovinda daur of Indian cinema' started with her coming into my life and since then, there has been no turning back. Today, though she is my kid, she is actually the mother at home, always scolding me to do things and I love it."
To witness the wonderful moments and incredible performances of this 90s special episode, tune into the Indian Pro Music League this Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm, only on Zee TV.
