To win, he will have to destroy his own daughter, and thus in this duel, we see the lion awaken and play the experienced moves of politics. Wasim Khan - Eijaz Khan plays the role of Inspector Wasim Khan who was once burdened by the injustice in the system and is now destined to improve his life. Wasim becomes a strong ally of Poornima but along with a politician, we can still see the virtuous Inspector Wasim Khan who fights the goons to protect the city. Wasim through his connections and grit, might save the city from the riots that Ameya plans, but will he be able to save Poornima? Well, watch the show to get the answer.
Tanya Mehta - Tanya Mehta (played by Shriyam Bhagnani), doesn't fail to impress. Tanya runs an app where women can report any harassment that they face, in absence of cops, and Tanya with her friends visit the spot to rescue them. With the progress of the story, we also see Tanya standing out as a solid female character who breaks off her engagement when she feels deprived of respect and convinces her father against the wrongdoings that he is engaged in.
Shireen Ali - A strong-headed reporter committed to fighting crime, Shireen Ali fights against injustice. She tries to convince Wasim when he decides to save Jagdish Gurav by not revealing him as the plotter of the shoot-out on Ameya Rao Gaikwad. When Wasim denies, she can even be seen approaching Poornima and Ameya Rao Gaikwad with evidence against Jagdish. In her journey in the show, we can see her as a reporter who is not afraid to ask pointed questions to politicians, even if she knows that they hold enough power to get her killed.
If all that isn't enough, there is a gripping storyline at play in 'Mayanagari - City Of Dreams 2' that entangles all their lives leading each of them to unpredictable repercussions. To find out more, watch the series only on Disney+ Hotstar.
